When Washington Mutual approached us to create an experiential campaign for WaMu branded venues that would drive traffic to their websites, we created the Photo Pods, a high tech version of the Photo Booth. Participants swiped WaMu branded cards into a kiosk, had their photos taken, moments later saw the photos projected on screens around the venue and later accessed the photos at WaMu’s website. Originally developed for WaMu, the experiences were expanded to portable photo devices and have been used all over the country by WaMu, Jones Soda and Washington CEO Magazine.
